These regions experience two main seasons: the rainy season (November to March) with heavy rainfall, and the dry season (April to October), when rain is less frequent but humidity remains high.

Travel Tips:

  • Respect local rules: In Singapore, laws are strict, including bans on chewing gum and littering. Ensure you comply to avoid fines.
  • Appropriate clothing: When visiting temples or religious sites in Malaysia and Bali, dress modestly, covering shoulders and knees. Some temples may provide sarongs for coverage.
  • Hydration and sun protection: Due to the hot and humid climate, ensure to drink plenty of water and use sunscreen to prevent heatstroke.
  • Food precautions: Explore local food but be cautious with street food, especially in Bali. Ensure the food is properly cooked, and avoid tap water, opting for bottled water.
  • Currency exchange and payments: Carry cash, especially in Bali and Malaysia, where cash payments are more common in rural areas or local markets. In Singapore, cards are widely accepted, but it's good to have local currency for small payments.
