Morocco - New Year's Eve 2025 in Casablanca

Meet at Henri Coandă International Airport at 03:00 for check-in with the agency representative and boarding on Lufthansa flight LH1423, departing at 06:00 for Frankfurt. Arrival in Frankfurt at 07:45 local time, then transfer through the transit area of Frankfurt Airport for boarding Lufthansa flight LH1328, departing at 11:20 local time for Casablanca. Arrival in Casablanca at 15:05 local time. Transfer and check-in at a 4-star hotel in Casablanca. Panoramic tour of the Corniche in Casablanca, Morocco's economic capital, a fascinating city with wide boulevards and architectural jewels in Art Deco and Moorish styles, set against a Mediterranean backdrop on the Atlantic coast. In the evening, we offer an optional visit to the famous Rick’s Cafe, reminiscent of the classic 1942 film "Casablanca" shot in Hollywood. Breakfast. Departure to Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. Visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II, the exterior of the Royal Palace, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Free time for lunch (optional). Continue to Meknes via Volubilis, a Roman site famous for its mosaics, and the sacred Moulay Idriss Mosque, dedicated to the founder of Fes. Meknes is considered the Moroccan Versailles. The Meknes city tour includes the monumental Bab Mansour gate, Hari Souani, defensive walls, El Hedim Square, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the old Medina. 30.12.2024 – Fes – One of Morocco's Four Imperial Cities



Breakfast. A day dedicated to visiting Fes/Fez, the oldest cultural and spiritual center of Morocco. Explore the city through the Medina and Souks, where artisans still use traditional techniques. Continue with a visit to the Karaouine Mosque and Bou Inania Medersa, examples of Islamic architectural art and an old Quranic school. After lunch (optional, with the agency representative offering an optional lunch in the city center for approximately €25 per person – excluding drinks), visit Fes El Jedid and the exterior of the Royal Palace with its 7 gates. Dinner and overnight stay at a 4-star hotel in Fes.

Breakfast. Check out and head to Casablanca. Pass through the Central Square, Habous Quarter, Notre Dame de Lourdes Cathedral, Mohamed V Square, and United Nations Square. Optional entrance and visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca (entrance ticket not included – approximately €15 per person). Check-in at a 4-star hotel in Casablanca. In the evening, enjoy a New Year's Eve Dinner at the renowned LE BASMANE restaurant in Casablanca. In the afternoon, visit the souks (markets) and optionally explore the lush Majorelle Gardens, named after the French painter who was the first owner and later owned by the famous Yves Saint Laurent (garden entrance not included). 03.01.2025 – Marrakech – Excursion to Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast (360 km)

Breakfast. Free time to explore Marrakech on your own, relax, or participate in an optional relaxing excursion to the Atlantic Ocean, visiting the bohemian Moroccan town of Essaouira, formerly Mogador (a name given by the Portuguese), a UNESCO World Heritage site. A brief stop at a cooperative producing the famous argan oil, where you can purchase natural cosmetics and photograph argan trees – favored by goats. Essaouira gained fame in 1949 when Orson Welles chose it as the location for the film adaptation of "Othello," and in the 1960s-70s, its Mediterranean streets inspired musicians like Jimi Hendrix and Cat Stevens. Visit the 18th-century Skala fortifications. Dinner and overnight stay at a 5-star hotel in Marrakech.
